Hermkes Interieur – www.hermkes-interieur.nl

The first commercial website I designed was for Hermkes Interieur. They needed a website which was easy to manage, so I created a management page where they could upload pictures, edit the contents of the webpage and for SEO (Search Engine Optimization). The key of their website is the photo gallery, which I coded myself with the use of PHP and a SQL database.

Sir Harald Art – www.sirharaldart.nl

The second site I designed was for art gallery Sir Harald Art. They needed a complete new design and a webshop. I designed and coded the site by hand, but decided to use an open source eCart as their webshop. This saves a lot of time, is easier to manage and is safer to use. The eCart I used was Zen Cart. Their main page could be managed through a self created management page, similar to the one of Hermkes Interieur.
